This video will show you how to modify your Vista Performance Rating numbers.All of you probably know what vista performance rating is, but for those who don't, it's pretty much a summary of your computers abilities. So once you go to control panel, click on Performance Rating and Information Tool. There you will see the rating of your system. If you don't like your score, or your friends mock your computer, then you can change these numbers in a few simple steps. #1Go to computer and click on your main drive probably it's C.#2Go down the list and click on the Windows folder.#3In the windows folder, click on performance.#4In performance you will see a folder named WinSat and click on it.#5In WinSat click on DataStore#6In DataStore click on the file that is the newest by date. It will probably be last folder.#7right click that folder and open with wordpad not notepad.#8You will see the numbers of the rating there and you can modify them to any value you want.#9Save the file. (if the file does not save go to step #10. IF the file did save without any errors, you are done.)#10If you got an error saying that you do not have sufficient privileges, you can give yourself those privileges by right clicking the file and going to properties. In properties, click security tab and then you will see the permissions. If you are the Administrator of the computer, you can give yourself full control privilege. Do so by clicking edit and then click on full control. #11Click ok and redo steps 7-9. Once you have finished modyfing the numbers, you click save and with your new permissions, the file should save without any problems. #12Go to control panel and click on performance rating and look at the new numbers.#13SHOW OFF!!!Plese No Hate Comments
