When I first saw x-men I took the visual effects for granted, i've recently seen it again and wow, was I impressed by the Nightcrawler-president assassination scene. So I decided to have a go, and being the one who hates having to take real life footage (smoke, flame) I decided to try and create the 'smoke' in after effects. And I did, and in the process I managed to create a preset. Which I might release on the web if anyone likes this effect. Please leave feedback!
